Mushies Privacy Policy
Effective October 4, 2026
Cozy Merge Puzzle: Mushies is a merge puzzle game for the whole family, children included, published by Senior Games Club, LLC on Google Play. This policy explains what information Mushies handles, what we never do with it, and the rights parents and guardians have. It is written for the adults in a child’s life, and it applies to the Mushies app and every feature in it.
This policy covers Mushies specifically. Our other games and apps are covered by the Senior Games Club Privacy Policy. Where the two differ, this policy governs Mushies.
The Short Version
- No accounts, no sign in, no chat, and no way for players to share anything or contact anyone.
- Game progress stays on the phone. We do not run servers that store anything about players.
- Ads come from Google AdMob, are rated G, and are never personalized. Mushies does not use the advertising ID.
- Ads never show while someone is playing, only between games, and any purchase turns them off for good.
- Every purchase is protected by a question for grown-ups and is processed by Google Play. We never see card details.
- We never sell or rent anyone’s information.
Children’s Privacy Comes First
Mushies is made for players of all ages, and we treat every player as a child. We follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Google Play Families Policy. The game never asks a player for their age, name, email address, or any other personal information, and it never asks a child to agree to anything. Instead of collecting consent from children, Mushies is designed so that the only information leaving the phone is the limited technical information described below, which Google’s ad service uses to deliver child appropriate ads.
What Stays on the Phone
These things are saved only on the device where Mushies is installed. We never receive them.
- Game progress. Levels and stars, best scores, collected Mushies, helpers, daily puzzle streaks, and saved games.
- Settings. Language, text size, sound, vibration, and the other choices in the Settings screen, including the optional display name, which never leaves the phone.
- Purchases. A record of which items were bought, so they stay unlocked.
- Reminders. If a grown-up turns on notifications, Clawdia’s reminders (at most one a day, in the daytime) are planned and shown by the phone itself. There is no server and no push token.
If Android’s own device backup is turned on, Google may back up this game data to the phone owner’s Google account. That backup is Google’s service, controlled by the phone owner in the device settings.
Ads in Mushies
Mushies is free to play and is supported by ads from Google AdMob, a Google Play certified ad network for apps that serve children.
- Every ad request is marked as directed to children, so Google shows only non personalized ads and applies its protections for child users.
- Ads are limited to the G (General Audiences) content rating.
- Mushies does not use the Android advertising ID. The permission to read it is removed from the app.
- There are no banner ads and no ads when the game starts or while someone is playing. Short ads may appear between games after a few games have been played.
- Players may choose to watch a video ad to earn an extra helper. Watching is always optional.
- After any purchase, Mushies stops showing ads and no longer starts Google’s ad service at all.
To deliver and measure ads, protect against fraud, and keep its service working, Google’s ad service collects limited technical information while ads are on. Google discloses this as approximate location (from the device’s IP address), app interactions such as app launches and ad views and taps, crash logs and diagnostics, and an app specific device identifier called the app set ID. Google handles this information under the Google Privacy Policy and its rules for partner apps. We do not receive personal information about players from Google.
Purchases
Mushies offers optional one-time purchases with fixed, known contents. These are No Ads, helper packs, the Dress-up Trunk, and Room Looks. There are no random or surprise items. Before any purchase screen opens, the game asks a question meant for grown-ups, so a child cannot buy anything by accident.
All purchases are processed by Google Play under your Google account. Neither we nor the game ever see or store card numbers or billing details. Refunds follow Google Play’s policies.
Feedback Emails
The Send Feedback button in Settings opens the phone’s own email app with a message addressed to us. Nothing is sent unless someone presses send in that email app. The draft includes basic details that help us fix problems, such as the game version, the phone model, and game progress, and the sender can delete them before sending. We use feedback emails only to reply and to improve the game. If we learn a message came from a child, we reply only as needed to answer it and then delete it.
What We Never Do
- No accounts, logins, chat, or sharing of any kind.
- No use of the advertising ID and no personalized ads.
- No collection of precise location.
- No analytics or tracking services of our own, and no data brokers.
- No selling or renting of personal information, and no sharing of it for marketing. Ever.
- No behavioral profiles of children.
- No loot boxes, gambling, or prizes with real value.
How to Delete Your Data
Because Mushies keeps game data on the phone, deleting it is in your hands.
- To erase all game data, uninstall Mushies, or open the phone’s Settings, then Apps, then Mushies, then Storage, and tap Clear Data. Progress, scores, settings, and the display name are erased from the phone. Purchases stay linked to your Google account and can be restored by reinstalling.
- To remove a device backup, manage or delete backups in your Google account or the phone’s backup settings.
- To ask about ad data, or to have any feedback email you sent us deleted, email seniorgamesclub@gmail.com with “Mushies data” in the subject. We will delete what we hold, explain how to reach Google about its ad service, and confirm when we are done.
Parents’ Rights
Under COPPA, parents and guardians have the right to review what has been collected from their child, to have it deleted, and to refuse any further collection or use. Since Mushies keeps game data on the phone, you can review and erase it directly as described above. To stop all ad related collection, make any purchase, which turns off ads and Google’s ad service for good, or uninstall the game.
You can also email seniorgamesclub@gmail.com and we will help. Exercising these rights never makes the game worse for your child.
Security
Mushies’ best protection is its design. It has no accounts, no server of ours, and nothing for players to share, so very little information exists to protect. Information sent by Google’s ad service and by Google Play is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected families as required by law if a breach ever occurs.
Service Providers
- Google Play distributes Mushies and processes all purchases under its own privacy policy.
- Google AdMob provides the child directed ads described above, while ads are on.
Changes to This Policy
If we make a material change to how Mushies handles information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Where the law requires parental consent for a change, we will obtain it before the change applies.
