Kidline Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
Kidline is a calling and messaging app built for young children, published by Senior Games Club, LLC. This policy explains what information Kidline handles, what we never do with it, and the rights parents and guardians have. It is written for the adults who set Kidline up, and it applies to the Kidline app and every feature in it.
This policy covers Kidline specifically. Our games and other apps are covered by the Senior Games Club Privacy Policy. Where the two differ, this policy governs Kidline.
The Short Version
- Kids can only talk to people a parent has approved. No stranger can ever reach your child through Kidline.
- Parents see everything. Every message your child sends or receives is available for you to read in full.
- We show no ads, use no outside tracking or analytics, and never sell or rent anyone’s information.
- Voice calls are live. We do not record them.
- Payments go through Apple. We never see or store card numbers.
- Parents can remove contacts, delete content, pause all communication with one tap, or have us erase everything.
Children’s Privacy Comes First
Kidline is designed for children and is built around the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). A parent or guardian sets Kidline up, approves every contact by invite code or QR code, and keeps full visibility of everything that happens in the app. Children cannot add contacts on their own, cannot communicate with anyone a parent has not approved, and cannot share anything publicly. There are no public profiles, no discovery features, and no way for an unknown person to find or reach a child on Kidline.
We treat the parent’s setup of the app, approval of each contact, and ongoing control of the family’s Kidline as the parental consent COPPA requires. If a parent withdraws that consent by removing a contact, pausing the household, or deleting Kidline, communication stops.
What Kidline Handles
Kidline is deliberately built to handle as little information as possible. To connect calls and deliver messages, the app processes the following.
- Setup and pairing information. The invite codes and QR codes that link a child’s device with the contacts a parent approves.
- Messages. The doodles, stickers, and Sparks a child sends and receives. Messages are delivered only to approved contacts and remain visible to the parent, which is a safety feature of the app, not a side effect.
- Live call audio. Voice calls pass through the service only as needed to connect the two sides in real time. Calls are not recorded, and no audio is kept after a call ends.
- Avatars. The characters a child builds in the Avatar Studio, shown to approved contacts during conversations.
- Technical basics. The minimum device and connection information needed to route calls and messages reliably, such as a notification delivery token.
What We Never Do
- No advertising of any kind inside Kidline.
- No third party analytics, trackers, or data brokers.
- No selling or renting of personal information, and no sharing of it for marketing. Ever.
- No behavioral profiles of children.
- No use of children’s messages, drawings, voices, or avatars to train AI systems.
- No collection of precise location.
- No reading of your phone’s contact list. People exist in Kidline only when a parent approves them one by one.
How Information Is Used
For one purpose. Running Kidline for your family. That means connecting calls, delivering messages, showing parents their child’s activity, honoring the household pause toggle, and unlocking Premium features for subscribers. Nothing is used for any other purpose.
Parents’ Rights and Controls
Under COPPA, parents have the right to review what their child has sent and received, to have it deleted, and to refuse any further collection or use. In Kidline those rights are built into the product rather than hidden behind a request form. You can read every message inside the app, remove any contact at any time, pause all communication instantly, and delete content or your family’s entire setup.
If you would rather have us handle it, email seniorgamesclub@gmail.com and we will verify that you are the parent or guardian, then review, delete, or erase as you direct and confirm when it is done. Exercising these rights never degrades your child’s remaining experience in the app.
Payments and Subscriptions
Kidline’s free tier includes safe calling with one approved contact. Kidline Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks unlimited contacts and the full messaging features. All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We never receive or store card numbers or billing details. Subscriptions are managed and canceled in your device’s subscription settings, and refunds follow Apple’s policies. Purchases can only be made by the account holder, not by a child inside the app.
Retention and Deletion
We keep information only as long as it is needed to run Kidline for your family. Removing a contact, deleting content, or deleting your family’s setup removes it from the service. If you want everything connected to your family erased, email us and we will take care of it and confirm when it is complete.
Security
Kidline’s best protection is its design. Communication stays inside the circle a parent approved, and the amount of information the app handles is deliberately small. On top of that we use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect what the app does handle. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected families as required by law if a breach ever occurs.
Third Parties
There are no ad networks, analytics companies, or data brokers in Kidline. The only outside parties involved in the app are Apple, which distributes Kidline and processes payments under its own privacy policy, and the infrastructure providers that carry calls and messages, which may process content solely to deliver it and for no other purpose.
Changes to This Policy
If we make a material change to how Kidline handles information, we will update this page, change the effective date at the top, and give notice inside the app before the change takes effect. Where the law requires fresh parental consent, we will obtain it before the change applies to your family.
